Crickhowell Duck Race 50-50 Programme 2023
This idea has been led by two very important ducks - 'Malvin the Mallard' and 'Tilly the Teal', who have joined forces with local community organisations to raise spirits and badly needed funds for 'Community Good Causes' and 'Rotary Charities' on a 50-50 basis. They are the optimistic and cheerful characters who welcomed you to this website.
Between them they have agreed the following community causes will be included in the 50-50 programme in 2023:
- Cancer Research Wales
- Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau
- Crickhowell Football Club
- Powys Young Carers

Malvin and Tilly invite you to buy a Duck or Ducks at £5 each and to choose one of these causes as the co-beneficiary. The 50-50 share is net after transaction costs. The cash prizes are very generous with £500 as the First Prize (The lottery is open to everyone over the age of 16).
The Duck Race will take place on Saturday 26th August 2023 in the Bullpit Meadow, Crickhowell where there will be other entertainment together with food and drink.
Crickhowell Rotary Charities
The other half of your donation will go to our charity fund. These funds are largely disbursed among local organisations, good causes, charities and for supporting specific local needs on an exceptional basis. The remainder of the fund will also support global disaster relief and other overseas projects.
